Data Deletion Instructions

If you have connected to the deedloom platform via Facebook/Meta, you may request the deletion of your personal data using the methods described below. This page has been prepared in accordance with Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Deletion Instructions

1. What Data Do We Store?

The data transferred to the deedloom platform when you log in with Facebook is listed below.

When you log in to deedloom with your Facebook account, the following data is transferred to our platform and processed:

  • First and last name (name on your Facebook profile)
  • Email address (email associated with your Facebook account)
  • Profile photo (your Facebook profile picture)
  • Facebook user identification number (User ID)
  • Session information (login time, access token)

2. Deletion Request via the deedloom Panel

The fastest method: submitting an account deletion request through your deedloom panel.

If you have a deedloom account, you may request the deletion of your personal data by following the steps below: 1. Log in to your account at deedloom.com 2. Click the profile icon in the top right corner 3. Navigate to the "My Profile" page 4. Scroll to the "Account Deletion Requests" section at the bottom of the page 5. Click the "I Want to Delete My Account" button 6. Select the reason for deletion and confirm Your request will be reviewed by the deedloom team and processed within 30 days at the latest. You will be notified by email once the process is complete.

3. Deletion Request by Email

If you are unable to access your account, you may submit a request by email.

Send an email to info@deedloom.com containing the following information: - Subject: "Personal Data Deletion Request" - Your first and last name - The email address registered to your deedloom account - A statement that you logged in via Facebook - The reason for your deletion request Your request will be processed within 30 days at the latest and the outcome will be communicated by email.

4. Data Deletion via Facebook

You can also trigger the deletion of your data by removing the deedloom application from your Facebook settings.

To remove the deedloom application from your Facebook account: 1. Log in to Facebook 2. Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites 3. Find the "deedloom" application 4. Click the "Remove" button 5. Check the option "Also delete all posts, photos, and videos that deedloom has posted" 6. Confirm by clicking "Remove" When you complete this action, Facebook automatically sends a notification to deedloom's data deletion callback address. deedloom will delete all personal data associated with your Facebook account within 30 days.

5. After Deletion

Upon approval of your data deletion request, the following actions will be carried out:

  • All personal data associated with your Facebook account (name, email address, profile photo) will be permanently deleted.
  • Session and access tokens will be revoked.
  • Listings, messages, and interaction data associated with your account will be anonymised or deleted.
  • Billing and payment records are retained for 10 years as required by law (Tax Procedure Law, Art. 253); however, personal identifying information will be anonymised.
  • Log records are retained for 2 years as required by Law No. 5651 and are automatically deleted thereafter.
  • The deletion process is irreversible. If you log in again with the same Facebook account, a new account will be created.

6. Checking Deletion Status

If you have submitted a deletion request via Facebook, you can check the status of your request using your confirmation code.

When you submit a data deletion request via Facebook, you will be provided with a confirmation code. You may check the status of your request by entering this code on the page below: deedloom.com/tr/veri-silme/durum Confirmation code format: EVN-DEL-XXXXXXX

7. Legal Rights and Contact

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and Article 17 of the GDPR, you have the right to request the deletion, destruction, or anonymisation of your personal data.
